JAMYANG YESHI
Jamyang Yeshi was born into a nomadic family in the Amdo region of Tibet and escaped across the Himalayas in 1998, settling in Dharamsala, India. Here he began to build up his musical carreer performing with his orchestra the traditional Amdo style of Tibetan folk music, going ahead with from 2005, thanks to a scholarship of Banff Institute, in Canada and USA. Jamyang’s latest CD, “Shining Spirit: A Tibetan Family’s Reunion through Music” was released 2007, and a documentary film, “Shining Spirit: The Musical Journey of Jamyang Yeshi,” which follows the making of this CD, in Tibet and Canada, was released 2009. At present, Jamyang is working on traditional and modern Tibetan music as well as filming. In 2010 he performed at many festivals of Canada and USA, and various Tibet earthquake fundraising events.




KOMÁROMI JUDIT „NESE”
Komáromi Judit was born in Budapest, Hungary, but got her name „Nese” (merriment, high spirits) in her second homeland Turkey, where she travelled and studied a lot and also lived for a while. Today she is living and working in Szentendre, Hungary, and is considered as a great authority. Besides the Turkish bellydance she is an expert in the Persian, Egyptian, Balcan and Transsylvanian oriental dance style, too. In the small clubs and biggest festivals, in the theaters and on the street – she is continuously performing, working, teaching and producing.
